PEO 1: To take up careers in the domain of Design, Hardware, Software, and Networking in IT Industries.

PEO 2: To Pursue Higher Education in the field of Computer Engineering.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)

Engineering Graduates will be able to:

PO1.Basic and Discipline Specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and engineering specialization to solve engineering problems.

PO2.Problem analysis: Identify and analyze well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.

PO3.Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of system components or processes to meet specified needs.

PO4.Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate techniques to conduct standard tests and measurements.

PO5.Engineering Practices for society, sustainability, and Environment: Apply appropriate technology in the context of society, sustainability, environment, and ethical practices.

PO6.Project Management: Use engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined engineering activities.

PO7. Life-long learning: Ability to analyze individual needs and engage in updating in the context of technological changes.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOME (PSOs)

PSO 1: Apply the techniques related to hardware and networking to troubleshoot in the domain of Computer Engineering.

PSO 2: Use appropriate software tools to identify, design, develop, and analyze the issues arising in Multi-disciplinary environments.

Provide training and Opportunities to the faculty for enhancing their knowledge on the recent developments in the field of Computer Engineering and dissemination of the same to the students.   We offer this course since 2002 with a sanctioned intake of 60.The demand for this course is growing as the growth of IT & ITES is tremendous in our country. Therefore the need for qualified manpower in this field is always on high demand. In order to meet the global need our aim is to produce good quality engineer with huge practical knowledge. The department has excellent infrastructure which is on par with an engineering college. The computer Centre is well equipped with latest machine and software. The Centre is fully air conditioned with a backup power supply through UPS. All the systems are networked using Cisco switches. For internet usage a 100Mbps Broadband connectivity is provided. We provide individual systems to all the students for their practical and project works. The department has well qualified faculty members having very good experience and rich knowledge in their field.

In order to update their knowledge on par with a industry and emerging field we depute staff members to undergo staff development programme, short term training programme and short term courses. Apart from the academic activates our students are trained to improve their soft skills through personality development programmes. In order to update the knowledge of the students we conduct guest lecturers in the latest technologies by inviting eminent persons from the industries and institutions also we conduct short term courses for the benefit of students during summer and winter vacations.

To have an industrial experience we arrange industrial visits and in-plant training for the benefit of the students. We encourage the students to participate in the technical symposium and quiz programmes conducted by other colleges. Our students achieved many state ranks in the board exam and bring name and fame to our institution. Most of the students gone out from our department are undergoing higher studies and many students are working in reputed companies like HCL. There is no doubt that our students stand high among all others in technical skills and discipline.
