Diploma programmes of three years duration are being offered in Engineering and Technology both as Government Aided and Self-Supporting programmes as follows.

Admission Process
The polytechnic admits both boys and girls. Reservation will be made as per the norms prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Admission of students under All India Quota and Orthopedically Handicapped are being done under DOTE's special permission.

Application for Admission
The Application form can be purchased from the institution's office by paying an amount of Rs.150/-(Rupees One Hundred and Fifty Only) The applications are free of cost for SC/ST candidates, provided the scanned copy of the Community Certificate should be uploaded.

Candidates are ranked on the basis of merit and reservation and called for counseling / admission on the above basis. The branches will be allotted on the basis of their ranks under the respective reservation quota and the availability of seats at the time of actual counselling / admission.
Higher Studies opening for Diploma holders
As per the AICTE Approval Process Hand Book 2021-22 Vide Page 117 Item (iii), the Diploma holders can join B.E. (Lateral Entry) in any discipline irrespective of branch studied in the Diploma programmes.
