The Labs have been equipped with a number of excellent model Boards and teaching kits designed by the Department staff members. The Department has achieved above 95% result in V and VI Semesters since 1982 for the past 25 years, of which More than 6 times secured a place in the State Rank list. The students are placed in Tamilnadu Electricity Board as Junior Engineers, Assistant Engineers and Technical Assistants.
Apart from finding jobs in TNEB, many of our students have joined reputed companies like HCL, ESSAR STEELS, L&T, SAINT GOBAIN, SUZLON, etc. In the past 30 years, sizable numbers of students have become successful entrepreneurs.
